Unexpected character encountered while parsing value: <. Path '', line 0, position 0

Is there a way to determine the problem file?
This is under debian and back up to Hubic.

Operation List with file attempt 5 of 5 failed with message: Unexpected character encountered while parsing value: <. Path ‘’, line 0, position 0.
Newtonsoft.Json.JsonReaderException: Unexpected character encountered while parsing value: <. Path ‘’, line 0, position 0.

Forgive the message, this seems to be a Hubic issue …

How’d you figure it out? (Enquiring minds want to know…)

It happened on login and not during actual backup. When it happened again I noticed I could not login onto Hubic web site but everything worked again a bit later.

This happens when the HubiC server has an error. It starts to return a HTML error page (which starts with <html>) and this is obviously not valid JSON data, hence the error message.

Once the HubiC server recovers, it returns JSON again and the error goes away.

Thanks for you reply Ken
Actually I gave up on Hubic and switched to Amazon Cloud drive which still offers unlimited plan in Europe.
Hubic had many issues with authid, but was also very unreliable and supposedly corrupting data.
