Restore from local disk disable temp folder?

Is there any parameters flag to disable temp folder use will restoration from local disk backend… not in wui then command line…

This will save more time plus less IO on hard disk.

I’m guessing these won’t apply for a restore…

Upload speed very slow, CPU near idle both ends, any ideas?

If you are using file-based storage, you can set the options --disable-streaming-transfer and --use-move-for-put. The first disables the internal stream handling (no upload/download progress reports) and the second uses the OS “move” instead of “copy”, and thus never reading/writing the file in Duplicati.

Though if disk IO is a concern you could maybe be as happy as byeCrashPlan with a RAM drive for your temp folder…

Change Backup temp location

I’m loving the option of using a Ram Disk for my temp directory. I’m new to the concept but it seems to work great. Still just a day in so I need to test some more. I have an SSD in my computer so it’s supposed to save on the wear to the drive.
