Would multiple backups to one bucket work in this instance?

Hi there, new Duplicati user here, just migrating from Duplicacy. I was wondering if I would have issues directing several different backups to the same Backblaze B2 bucket. Google seems to suggest this is a bad idea, or at least that Duplicati doesn’t support deduplication in this case. I was hoping to describe my goal and clarify.

I’m running this on my UnRaid server, currently interested in backing up just one share. But rather than configure one backup for the entire share, I want to configure three separate backups with different retention settings. But there would be no duplicate folders amongst the three backups; all three backups combined would precisely back up the entire share.

This WOULD be super handy for deduplication as some of the files from one backup get copied/moved to a folder covered by another backup.

Would I have any issues setting things up this way? Appreciate the feedback.

Don’t put more than one in a virtual folder, but a bucket can have many folders.

The local database is per backup job, tracking destination folder, e.g. for dedup.

Can those files use Exclude on the Source screen to keep them in one backup?
Alternatively, consider whether duplicated files cost merits any special handling.
