I went into a backup to restore, and from the drop-down, I see some backups are “partial”
What does this mean? I can see that when I choose them, not the entire content of C: drive exists, just two or this directories.
When would a backup become “partial”?
It happens when the backup is stopped for some reason, before running to completion.
Duplicati will then essentially:
- Copy all files from previous backup
- Update anything that was processed in this run
- Mark the backup as “partial”
You should still see all files (but the sizes here reveals that is not the case).
