I am using Duplicati to back up all my files on my Windows 11 system to a local NAS (which is then backed up weekly to a WD MyBook USB drive and stored offstite). I am doing this because Windows “File History” does not seem to include the files I have stored in OneDrive, and I want those backed up somewhere other than just by Microsoft in their cloud. Everything runs well and my OneDrive files are all in the Duplicati backups (according to “Restore”). I just keep getting this one persistent warning message each time the backup runs:
- 2023-10-05 04:00:14 -05 - [Warning-Duplicati.Library.Main.Operation.Backup.FileBlockProcessor.FileEntry-PathProcessingFailed]: Failed to process path: C:\Users\bloni\OneDrive.849C9593-D756-4E56-8D6E-42412F2A707B
I don’t see any such file in my local OneDrive folder, so I cannot further diagnose any problems with one particular file or folder. I also do not know which file to look for in a Duplicati Restore to see if one of my files or folders is missing.
The only reference to the warning message or to the obscure file name mentioned in the message is at the end of the log:
“Warnings”: [
“2023-10-05 04:00:14 -05 - [Warning-Duplicati.Library.Main.Operation.Backup.FileBlockProcessor.FileEntry-PathProcessingFailed]: Failed to process path: C:\Users\bloni\OneDrive\.849C9593-D756-4E56-8D6E-42412F2A707B”
],
How can I proceed to identify the reason for the warning or perhaps the real file name causing the issue?
Thank you.
