Useless "warning" alerts, since no details are available

2.3.0.4 - 2.3.0.4_stable_2026-07-09 on Win10/11

I keep getting orange colored warning alerts, but when I click on “show log” I only see my list of logs of completed runs over the last weeks, all marked with a green dot - so I assume they ran without warning.
Since the alert also doesn’t report a date when it was created, I have no clue where to look.
It seems these alerts hang around forever, until I manually dismiss them.
What is the intention of these alerts, if they just seem to clutter the alert space?
Or am I missing something?

This happens when the errors occur after the backup has completed. At this point the backup is done, the results are calculated and the backup database is closed.

But there are a few things that happen after the backup is done, mostly reporting of different types. If you have configured reporting (say with the Duplicati Console, or email reports) and these fail to run, it will not be visible in the job logs as it happened after the job ran.

You can instead go to “About Duplicati” → “Logs” and see what happened.

(And yes, I agree it is confusing and should be fixed. Because the warnings are related to the backup, they should appear in the logs for that backup).
