Upload to cloud without blocks

Hi all

I was wondering whether it is possible to use duplicati (really good program BTW!) to upload to a cloud service not in “blocks” but just as the file type that you have stored locally

Is this at all possible?

I’ll hazard the answer that Duplicati doesn’t do this because this use case doesn’t really match any of the things duplicati is really intended to do:

  • backup sets with incremental changes
  • de-duplication
  • security and (optional but recommended) encryption
  • several other things i’m not thinking of at the moment

You probably want a sync program - i haven’t used it but if i’ve heard correctly, a program like rSync might suit your needs.
