Upgrade to last version

Hello,

currentry I’am using duplicati version 2.0.7.1_beta_2023-05-25 (2.0.7.1).
I receive the message “Found update” with button choices

  • “Show”
  • “Install”
  • “Dismiss”

I click on “Install” and “Downloading” progress bar appear.
After some seconds it desappears and again appears the previous message “Found update” with button choices

  • “Show”
  • “Install”
  • “Dismiss”

I check the version and still remain th 2.0.7.1_beta_2023-05-25 (2.0.7.1).

The question is: how to upgrade dulplicato to last version without loosing current configuration and link to my backups ?

Thanks,
regards,
Giuseppe

Welcome to the forum @Giuseppe

Yesterday the Upgrade 2.0.7.1_beta_2023-05-25 to 2.1.0.2 topic wound up here after determining that the last version (i.e. in Stable channel as of today) might be the way to go.

You can see if the descriptions above that match what you see. I think we’re waiting on dev.

If somehow you prefer the very latest, that’s usually a Canary. Testers of that are a big help.

EDIT:

If you want 2.1.0.2 because you’re willing to try a Beta pre-release before Stable, look here.
I’d avoid 2.1.0.3 Beta, as it lacks some fixes latest Stable has. I don’t know next-Beta plans.

The database (with your backups and settings) is not touched by install/uninstall.

To upgrade, simply uninstall the current version and install the latest.
I assume you want the stable version, which you can get from here:
