Upgrade problem to 2.1 from 2.0.6.3_beta

I am running on 2.0.6.3_beta Ubuntu 22.04. When I action an upgrade (to 2,1,02) it fails with the following error message

Hi @Norman_Bearon, welcome to the forum :waving_hand:

That is a bug in the update system when going from anything older than 2.0.8.1 to 2.1+.
You need to manually uninstall Duplicati 2.0.6.3 and then install 2.1.0.5:

For now, we do not have automatic updates.

Also, note that 2.1 was a major change, no longer relying on Mono, and adding a mandatory access password:
