Trying to install on DSM 7.0.1-42218 Update 2

Hi,

I’m trying to install version duplicati-2.0.6.3_beta_2021-06-17.spk on my DS916+ and I’m getting an error
“File format not valid, contact the developper on the package” (translation from French)

Mono is installed. Don’t think at the install stage with the error Mono could be an issue.

I searched the forum but I can’t see any posted message relating such problem.
Any idea?

The native Synology Duplicati package is not compatible with DSM 7. I recommend running it in Docker instead, if your NAS supports it. There is a bit of a learning curve with Docker if you’ve never used it before, but it’s worth the transition in my opinion. I made the move a few years back.
