TrueNAS Core 12.0-U8.1, minio S3 Vs. Duplicati

Hello. I try to setup a backup from Windows 10 PC to TrueNAS core with minio S3 service.

I successful login into the S3 management via Web-Interface and created the bucket.

If I try to setup the backup destination in Duplicati and press the ‘test connection’, nothing happens. No error/warning message, nothing.

Any hints? Thank you in advanced.

I have tried to reproduce your problem and the config ‘mistake’ I did that was most akin to your symptoms is firewall blocking (although after 2 minutes a WebException was thrown, but I don’t know if you waited that long). In this case it’s not quite true that nothing happens, though; there is still the ‘Connection test’ waiting message, but you are not clear on the meaning of ‘nothing happens’. If the button is greyed out, it’s another problem entirely but I don’t see how it could happen.
