Hello. Is the upgrade planned because there is currently no compatibility with DSM 7 tested on Synology DS720+ DSM 7.0-41890.
Not yet compatible. I believe it is due to the limitation DSM7 places on packages that want to run as root.
One workaround for now is to migrate to Docker, if your NAS supports it. There is a learning curve but IMO it is worth it. I switched to running Duplicati inside Docker on my NAS a couple years back - no regrets.
