Do I need to do something extra to get the sort order of my jobs remembered? It always comes back with “sort by ID” (Win10 with 2.3.0.1 - 2.3.0.1_stable_2026-04-24, Firefox with cookies enabled)

AH - in the browser. Found it.
Setting is kept during the same browser session (even if tab closed/opened), but with a new browser session it is back to “id” - is it a cookie thing? I lately had new problems with login to a cloud provider which required definition of an exception in my “strict” privacy settings.
It is not a cookie in the traditional sense. It is something called “Browser Local Storage” where webpages can store various data as needed:
The promise (to the webpage) is that it sticks around and is not deleted. If you enable “Delete cookies and site data when Firefox is closed”, then the settings will be deleted as well. You can click the “Manage Exceptions …” to opt-out deleting Duplicati settings.
