Can you please add an option to show directory sizes when they’re added to Source Data?
Perhaps when you tick the box to add a directory, it could start a scan immediately and shows the size once done. I’d like to see both GB and a file count.
It would make it so much easier to avoid directories with large files or excessive quantities of small files.

While waiting for this to happen (or not), there are lots of dedicated programs that do this sort of thing.
Visualize backup data usage gets into it a little bit with one specific recommendation, and others exist.
Disk Space Analyzer WizTree 4.00 has been released talks about the new June 10, 2021 version.
Some of these tools probably also have a nicer graphical UI than Duplicati can do, as a web page.
