Scheduled Backup Does Not Run Without a User Logged On in Windows

Hello everyone.

I am having a problem with 3 installations of Duplicati that I made on servers running Windows Server.

In both the scheduled backup is only performed if a user is logged on to Windows and Duplicati tray is loaded.

Duplicati is running as administrator and running as administrator.

What can I do to resolve this issue?

I’m sorry for any spelling mistakes, because I’m using Google Translator.

A default installation adds a shortcut to the Duplicati Tray Icon in the Startup folder. The scheduler is part of the Tray Icon tool, so scheduled backups indeed run only if the user is logged on.

You can install the Server component as a Windows service, which activates the server and scheduler after booting the computer, before the first user logs on. Read this guide for more information:
