I tested backing up a large dataset to a small destination file system to see how duplicati would handle running out of room. Once the destination filled up, duplicati just seemed to pause (the process didn’t pause, but no more progress was shown). What was unexpected is there was no error thrown. Is there a way to configure Duplicati to alert if it can’t perform a backup due to not enough space on the destination?
There are two destination space related settings that I can think of. One let’s you define the destination size (in case the destination doesn’t return it) and the other lets you set at what “remaining space” level Duplicati should send a warning.
But I’ve never actually used / tested them so can’t really tell you just beyond that.
