after a major backup failure after which I recreate job db (the whole story described in Sudden activation of Duplicati-server.sqlite encryption ) I have problem with returning “Hash mismatch on file” error. Each time this error refers to the same duplicati-xxx…xxx.dblock.zip.aes file which was created 2021-07-06. This file looks like damaged: I cannot decrypt it manually.
When I ran Repair operation after failed backup, it finished successfully and next backup also finished successfully, but following backups shows error again.
How to fix this problem effectively?
If you’ve tested other files to prove the technique, you can move or delete bad file.
You can run list broken files to find what files are affected, then purge broken files.
If you want to find other files that might also be damaged, you can test them all.
You mentioned a network in the other topic. Testing all files needs downloading.
Test after backup is sampled. This gets less download but adds more variability.
