5TB is a large backup, much less a restore. Whew! What immediately came to my mind was the the block size of the initial backup (Choosing sizes in Duplicati). I realize this doesn’t help in your current endeavor, but might be considered for future backups if such a complete restore again be required in a more timely matter.
