Restore one full windows image to another computer

I would like to use Duplicati to back up my entire hard drive (including windows, users folder etc) and then restore it to another computer. I want to do this in order to have to identical working environments.
I don’t want to sync it after the initial restoration.

Would this be possible with Duplicati?

I’m going to say No. Duplicati is not designed for imaging systems. It works best when protecting user data files.

Depending on what version of Windows you have, you may be able to use Windows’ native Backup utility to create an image level backup. Or consider a third-party product like Macrium Reflect. I have the paid version but I understand there is a free version.

Thanks for your input.

P.S. Win 10.

Windows 10 Pro has the ability to create an image level backup. I use the following command:

wbadmin.exe start backup -backupTarget:\\NAS\Backups -allCritical

I haven’t done it in a few years, but native Windows image level backup used to be restorable to a blank system right form Windows setup.

Macrium Reflect is more user friendly and has more capabilities, like restoring to a system with different hardware (from what I recall).
