Release: 2.0.7.102 (canary) 2024-04-03

It’s apparently 103 and not 102. I’ll switch back to a previous version.

But willing to test - just not sure where to start…

Please look at the full numbering. There’s a 2.0.7.102 Canary about to go Beta, I hope.
There’s also a 2.0.8.x series which has gotten to 103 or 104 and is a flaky debug build.

Much appreciated, if your intention was to try out the very raw, very new port to .NET 8.
These seem to get announced in the forum every now and then. The latest announce:

and a few people have started (although with limitations and workarounds seen there).
Possibly you have an equipment or OS configuration that hasn’t been tested there yet.

I was not actively planning to test the debug, but noticed a change in docker tags, and I assumed it was the latest canary.

Nothing fancy architecture wise. An odroid n2+ running docker on armbian. I’ll check the other post when I have time to test.

No problem beyond scaring us a little bit. I’ve raised the question of whether these should be so visible.

That’s fine. It’s certainly optional. Not many have joined in yet, and I think there’s still a backlog of issues.

Good catch, I have added this to the Docker builds (for 1.0.4+).

The idea with canary releases is that we should at least think that they work. With these Debug builds, I am sure there are unknowns.

Not sure how to make the containers available without it being so visible? Just post to the Debug tag and not version tag?
