Regular Backup fails with OAuth Service error

I have been using Duplicati for years to backup my Ubuntu laptop to Google Drive. I recently decided to check the backups are working and found backups have been failing for the past 10 months with a “Backup Failed. Failed to authorize using OAth service server error” message.

If I look into the stored backup configuration settings under destination and click on ‘Test connection’ it fails with the same message. If I click on the ‘AuthID’ link and create a new one, then click on ‘Test connection’ again it appears to work. However if I immediately re-run the failed backup it fails again.

Just to be sure, after testing the connection you are moving to Step 5 and clicking then Save button?
