Received error when I run backup. What type of error it is? Anything serious?

My hhd is in poor health and failing. Maybe it is a cause of the error.

After I ran back up again and it ran whithout any error.

Questions: What type of error it is? Anything serious?

Additional error details beyond the small amount Duplicati gave would be needed to be more sure, but:

is probably verifying backend files (after backup) testing a backup file sample. Some problem came up.

shows more clearly a transfer error, on upload this time whereas the test of the 2018 dlist was download.

is a better clue that you somehow lost the connection to the server (what storage type is this?) just then.

If things stay fine, I wouldn’t worry too much. You could check your network connection with a speed test, or run the ping command to your destination to see if it packets get lost. Check Wi-Fi status, whatever…

If the problem happens further, please get a better look at it using better logs such as the server live log About → Show log → Live → Retry, or give your job a –log-file at –log-file-log-level=retry (for example).

You can (if you like) use a bit more download bandwidth by raising –backup-test-samples, to verify more. You can also work around unreliable networks (if it can’t be fixed) somewhat by using –number-of-retries.
