pCloud/WebDAV sudden issue

Hi all,

I’ve been using Duplicati for almost a year now without any issue for doing daily backups of some of my local folders to my pCloud account using WebDAV. For some reason, it stopped working today : I’m hit with an error that says that the distant pCloud folder (that I sent my backups into) doesn’t exist – although I’m sure it does

The folder “blahblahblah” was not found, message: The remote server returned an error: (404) Not Found.

For testing purposes, I created a new backup following the settings of the current one, and pressed the “test connection” button : the connection seems to be doing fine, but then I get a message telling me that the destination folder doesn’t exist (whatever name I put in the “Path on server” field, whether it’s an existing folder or not) and asking me if I want to create it. If I try to do so, I’m hit with another error :

Failed to connect: The remote server returned an error: (409) Conflict.

Any idea why this is happening ? Thanks in advance !

If Duplicati hasn’t changed, maybe pCloud has, but their support might not help with third-party software. They don’t even mention WebDAV at pcloud.com, but I don’t see recent Internet screaming about theirs.

You can try the usual, I suppose. See what some third-party WebDAV client can see, then try Duplicati’s lower-level tools such as Duplicati.CommandLine.BackendTool.exe to see if you can list or get things.
Export As Command-line will get you a URL. You can adjust slashes. Sometimes leading/trailing matter.

Thank you for your inputs and suggestions !

Funnily enough, I was just about to reply to myself : for some mysterious reason, the backup process starting to work again today ! No signs of any of the errors that I mentioned in my initial post…

Oh well ! I’ll keep an eye out to see if that ever happens again…

Cheers!
