Only run backup within timeframe

Hello,

I have been using Duplicati for quite a while now with great results, and have realized that one of my new tasks, a DB backup, has no reason to run outside of office hours, since there are no changes being made.

It is possible to mantain scheduling to run every hour, but to add on top of that the restriction to have it run only within a certain timeframe? It would be very nice if so.

To do this you either need to use a pre-backup script or an alternate scheduler. Here’s an example of how to do it with a script:

Here’s an example cmd script that uses the error codes mentioned in @ts678’s post above. I know it isn’t as pretty as if Duplicati’s scheduler had this built in, but it should work. This checks the current hour and only runs the backup if it’s between 8 and 18.
