I’ve managed to get a backup on OneDrive for Business completed, however it came back with warnings.

I can see that the warnings suggest that backup is looking for username and password that I have indeed originally supplied, and then I’ve added the new authentication later when username and password didn’t work. I’ve just tried removing those details, but now it’s only showing me the auth code, without those two options.

Is there any way I can remove that username and password manually, from some setting files, command line or something like that? Or do I have to recreate the backup from scratch?

When I actually copy the backup destination and put it in notepad, I can see that’s where it enters the username and password, but it doesn’t show them in the settings for me to remove them.

If notepad has an od4b:// URL with extra --auth-username and --auth-password, you could try deleting them then importing in Edit → Destination → Backup destination → (three-dot menu) → Import Destination URL

Microsoft OneDrive for Business (Microsoft.SharePoint.Client API) seems to say those options are valid, but perhaps they became invalid when you switched to “new authentication”? Is that --integrated-authentication?

By “new authentication” I mean the note from the link you’ve sent me:

“This backend is based on the Microsoft.SharePoint.Client library, and doesn’t support features like OAuth or two-factor authentication (2FA). The Microsoft OneDrive v2 backend supports these features, and is also compatible with OneDrive for Business.”

So that’s OAuth, which I believe is now the main authentication for Office 365

URL is actually: “onedrivev2://” - however, I’ve followed the same advice anyway and I can confirm that this has resolved the problem for me. Thank you very much for your assistance.
