I try to run Duplicati on command:
sudo systemctl start duplicati.service

That guide seems to cover most details I can think of.
It is suggesting a pretty old version
“https://github.com/duplicati/duplicati/releases/download/v2.0.4.23-2.0.4.23_beta_2019-07-14/duplicati_2.0.4.23-1_all.deb”
The new release is probably worth getting
“https://github.com/duplicati/duplicati/releases/download/v2.0.6.3-2.0.6.3_beta_2021-06-17/duplicati_2.0.6.3-1_all.deb”
I’d verify the steps around creating the duplicati.service file and the initscript in etc/default/duplicati, I don’t see a mention of it but you may have to mark the files as “executable”.
Everything works. Thank you very much for help. Installing the new version helped.
