For about a week I have noticed I no longer receive any notifications from the forum. I’m using a Gmail account so normally the worst that happens is they go to spam, but there are no signs of any mails.
For example, I watch the release announcements so normally when my watch on Github tells me there’s a new canary like today, then I shortly get the same from the forum. It didn’t, nor did I get mails from recent replies to my posts. I probably won’t get a notification for this post either which will be annoying.
Any ideas? I have noticed that the post editor no longer shows a preview box to the right showing what my post will look like, so has something changed.
I updated the Discourse installation to the latest version, and that seemed to introduce the new editor. You can toggle back the previous split-view with the small toggle in the toolbar:
I updated the forum base software on August 4th, so maybe that triggered something related to the emails. I will investigate.

I had trouble getting it to do what I wanted once, so mine’s turned off for now.
