How to use “--encryption-module= ” with own crypto program?

In the documentation it says that Duplicati can use plugin encryption-modules, which is awesome! But I couldn’t find technical information on exactly how this works.

If I want to use my own crypto program that works like gpg on the cli , how can I use it with Duplicati besides aes and gpg? --encryption-module=mymodule

How to use “–encryption-module= ” with own crypto program? (Developer category version) has some, although its complexity might not be what you want to hear. Possibly some expert will know of better…
