How to set up backup to support full system restore (Windows)

(Windows 11) I am unclear whether I can set up a backup that could be used in the event a full system restore is required such as when the entire C: drive is unusable and must be replaced. Will setting up a full backup of the C: drive allow me to restore a new bootable C: drive from that backup?

Short answer is no, Duplicati is not suitable for full system backup. Personally I use Macrium Reflect for image level backup (run less frequently with limited retention), and Duplicati for file level backup of just my data files (more frequent, longer retention).
