even after I am setting HOSTNAME=xyz.domain it is not working rather it is requesting to the google cloud with https://localhost/logged-in as uri. Whats the reason?

Where do you see the URI? Do you mean in GUI? The network is hard to watch.
What URI are you expecting? Internal Duplicati format is here. IDK GCS internal.
