If you have an table (e.g. in Excel) that you would like to share on this forum, here is a very easy way of transforming it into Markdown so that you can simply paste it directly into your post:

  1. In Excel (or wherever your table is) select the cells you would like to use and copy them.
  2. Go to Markdown Tables generator - TablesGenerator.com
    (alternatively: Markdown Table Maker) and paste your table there (File -> Paste Table Data)
  3. Copy the result to the clipboard
  4. Paste into your post here.
    Done!

Oh, and you can of course also use that website to create a table from scratch.
