Help with STATUS_IO_TIMEOUT Errors

Hello Community,

I´m desperatly struggling with Duplicati when trying to do Backups to an older DIY NAS I built. The Backup sometimes fails after 5 Minutes, sometimes after 1 hour with the following Error Messages in the Job:

The Job backups MP3 files from an SMB share to the target SMB share.

I already reduced the “asynchronous-upload-limit” to 2, and the “read-write-timeout” to 5 minutes, but the error still happens.

Could it be that the NAS Hardware is simply to slow to handle the backups?

HP Microsserver N54L (AMD Turion(tm) II Neo N54L Dual-Core Processor)
8 GB DDR3
Intel Pro 1000 Dual NIC (1 used with 1gbit)

Open Media Vault (Current Version)
2x 2TB as RAID1
2x 8TB as RAID1

RAIDs were built with OMV, so It´s a software RAID

If there are any more details for debugging, I´ll be happy to provide them.

Thank you and a nice sunday,

Philipp
