Hello samw,
this temp folder is not part of the backup! My backup contains just a KeepassPortable folder and some batchfiles but not this temp folder.
The file in the error message is located in “c:\users\server\AppData\Local\Temp” and this file is created by Duplicati.

My source folders are UNC-Paths and not C:\ and non of them contains a file from the user-folder (server is the username of the user that runs Duplicati) nor from the same disk or from the same host! (both are different hosts than the one Duplicati is running):

Btw: The backup was started again and finished successful without any change.

After the job I have many dup… files in this temp-folder but non of them with this dup-4a name:
So another try:
- Deleted all dup* files in this temp folder
- Started the job
- Job finished with error
