Hi

As the google photo api is in preview is there any plans to support this and offer use of the unlimited high quality backup.

The google photos “unlimited high quality backup” feature, as far as i know, concerns compressed images only. Duplicati doesn’t deal directly with image data at all - it does its own compression and encryption, but then the storage destination is expected to not tamper with the files at all.
So in other words, i don’t believe this is a use case that Duplicati will have anything to do with.
