Error-Duplicati.Library.Encryption

Hello, I’m getting this error.

2024-12-14 17:05:12 +01 - [Error-Duplicati.Library.Encryption.GPGEncryption-GPGEncryptFailure]: Error occurred while encrypting with GPG:Cannot start process because a file name has not been provided.

InvalidOperationException: Cannot start process because a file name has not been provided.

Since I run my backup internally on a WiFi hard drive, I don’t need encryption.
How can I turn off encryption without having to redo the entire configuration?

Welcome to the forum @Reiner

Any idea how it turned on? Anyway, you can try just editing the job. Turn it off on first screen.

Are you just getting going? If there’s already a backup, it may be harder, but I don’t use GPG.

But to do this I have to go through the entire configuration.
If I click continue after switching to “No encryption” and don’t change any other settings, will the remaining settings remain the same?

No. You can use the navigation buttons or even skip around by clicking steps on top.

It’s true that the Save button is on step 5, but you can just click right to 5 if you wish.

There’s no such button, but if you mean Next, then that’s another way to get to step 5.

Yes, but I’m unsure if or when it will complain about encryption change. What’s history?
The best case is if you have no backup, which might be true, as you’re not up currently.
What Duplicati is this (see About screen)? Some old ones could lose advanced options.

Thanks for your help.
Your method was fine but the result didn’t work.
I have to redo everything because the old files were encrypted.
I’ve now deleted everything including backups and am setting everything up again.
