Email confirmation after succesful backup / failure or issues


I think a good feature to have in the next build which would be very useful for me as I am a technician would be to add the ability to setup email alerts for backups when they have completed or had issues explaining on what they failed on?

If you could set the feature to use your own email details and email server that would be a bonus!

You can definitely do this… check out the various --send-mail-* options.

I set my email alerting options in the global settings area so they apply to all backup jobs.
