The AlternativeFTP doesn’t work stable with big backups and the FTP in the AVM FritzBox 7590 and 7490.
I think there is no chance to work with the winscp?

There is no current support for that. Would you use FTPS? The AVM one doesn’t sound very healthy.

duplicati uses an very old version from Duplicati.Library.Backend.AlternativeFTP

yes that’s unfortunate. I did not notice that else I’d tried to include it. I’m afraid that it’s too late to try to do it for next canary. However once this is done, I could try to create a special build for you if you are willing to try it and give feedback, not before next week. Would you be interested ?

Was a new surprise after this declaration of success (except for TLS 1.3) given 12 days earlier:

The alternate FTP (aftp) is the solutions and works with the 7490 and 7590 AVM FritzBox. All problems are gone on serval machines.

So apparently not quite as good as first seen? Maybe a newer AlternativeFTP would help there.
You were given an offer for what could be tried, if you’re willing to say that you’re interested in it.
