Duplicati on Synology via Docker?!

• Delete container from Image section
• Find the container in the Registry and download again
• Export the settings of current running container to a file
• Stop and Delete the current container
• Import the backup file from step 3
  a. This will create a new instance with all original settings
• Start the new container

I find it easier to follow this update procedure (no export/import, but do so if you wish).

1. Download the new ‘latest’ Duplicati image from the Registry
2. When the download is complete, stop the Duplicati container and from the Action menu select Clear.
3. The container will be removed and recreated with the updated image you’ve downloaded
4. When the new container has been recreated, start it

This is why export/import is unnecessary. Also you have an easy method to backup Docker files via Hyper Backup.
