Duplicati no longer launching on Mac - database version?

There are other users reporting the same issue.

The database has version 7 but the largest supported version is 6.

I get the following error message: > The database has version 7 but the large…st supported version is 6. This is likely caused by upgrading to a newer version and then downgrading. If this is the case, there is likely a backup file of the previous database version in the folder /Users/raxod502/.config/Duplicati. I've gotten it on several different occasions in the past, actually. But I have never downgraded Duplicati, so it does not seem to be an error on my part. What can I do to debug this?
