Duplicati hangs on "Checking files..." message

Backup configured and they normally upload data to the Cloud (Google Drive), but it stays static in the message “Checking files…” and does not finish the task.

Any tips?

So it was working fine, but it stopped without a known change? Have you tried restarting the system? Generally an access problem at least gives an error after awhile, perhaps configurable using Options.

Viewing the Duplicati Server Logs lets you watch the activity, e.g. About → Show log → Live → Retry
