I am having an issue with the latest update. Please see attached screenshot. I have checked the security permission and they all appear to be in order.

Did you start the installer from File Explorer, and give Duplicati permission at UAC prompt?
Does the Duplicati 2 folder exist? Sorting by date, is it old files, new files, mixed, or empty?
Permission of what? This might need some clarification, but we can look at other things first.
I think typically an installer gets in because the local Administrators group has Full control.
You could look at installer process in a Task Manager’s Details with Elevated column set on.
The issue was resolved by deleting the Duplicati 2 folder and reinstalling the Duplicati.
