After updating from 2.0 to the latest version of Duplicati (2.1.0.3_beta_2025-01-22) every time I start Duplicati from the try icon it will start two identical sessions in my browser.
Is there a file I can edit to change this behavior to a normal start of one session?
Or any other solution to solve this.

Single click should work fine. At one point on the way to 2.1, one had to use right-click Open.
That’s still supported (along with the other right-click menu options), but seems like hard way.
and I don’t know if it’s possible to have a double-click requirement in the new implementation.
When I say new I mean completely rewritten to use the Avalonia UI framework to replace old.

As @ts678 mentions, you can single click.
I have created an issue to make double-click==single-click.
