Debian "Invalid certificate received from server" error

ay, I’m running a log file with the Automatic Usage Reporting turned off and will send that later. Once it started there are a lot of 500 errors.

I get the same errors running duplicati beta 2.0.3.3-1 in Debian 8.10.

Did this just start happening or has it always done this? If recent, did you update Duplicati or something else on your system since the last successful run?

Do you recall if you have usage reporting disabled?

If not, try disabling it via the environment variable setting then running Duplicati from that command line:

Also remember to disable the usage reporter then. You can set this environment variable to force disable it (cannot be enabled when running): USAGEREPORTER_Duplicati_LEVEL=none

The certificate error makes me think this is a mono issue, but even so as part of the usage reporter it should probably be handled as a warning rather than an error. What do you think @kenkendk?

Yes, it should be a warning. Maybe we should even convert the error message to something like Certificate error detected, try running cert-sync or disable the usage reporter.
