I have a couple times witnessed Duplicati making backups right after boot, even though it shows as paused in the tray icon. So the pause after startup functionality seems broken at the moment.

Thanks for the report. It’s a known issue that’s fixed in Canary test release.

## Description
Since version 2.2.0.0 (after coming from 2.1.x.y canary), pause after startup stopped working. When I boot my system, Duplicati is shown as paused in the systray and the old web UI (the rightmost button at the top), but jobs that were queued are running nonetheless.
The feature was working fine in 2.1.x.y canary versions.
## Steps to reproduce
1. Set a pause after startup
2. Have a job scheduled to run while the computer is off
3. Boot up and watch the job run on startup instead of waiting the configured time.
- **Actual result**:
Queued jobs run on startup
- **Expected result**:
Queued jobs should be running after the set delay.

## Debug log
Not sure how to grab that since it affects whatever job is scheduled to run next at boot time, and not one job in particular.

This problem is now fixed for me, version 2.2.0.3 - 2.2.0.3_stable_2026-01-06
