Pcloud is a promising Bulgarian Start-up which moved its headquarters to Switzerland in 2015. There are many reasons why you might want to try pcloud and I don’t want to stop you. But I want to make you aware that there are still some quite serious problems with pcloud. I have summarized them in this review on trustpilot. Their biggest problem is communication and that makes the various technical problems they have with their app (including data loss) an extra PITA. I will eventually publish my full correspondence with them to validate these claims because it’s difficult to convey a sense of just how bad they are at communication unless you actually show it. BTW: my impression is that all the technical problems are related to the pcloud app so if you are only accessing the storage via the webDAV interface or their web interface, you may never need to interact with their support. But then again: who knows?
