Backupfiles of sqlilte files?

I have updated to the latest Beta 2.0.4.5_beta_2018-11-28

Now I have files in the user\appdata\local\duplicate

Sicherung_20190607.sqlite
…

(Sicherung is the German word for backup). That are various backups of the Duplicate Database and of job Databases.

But I do not know why this backups are made?

Does Duplicati in any way make a backup of it’s own database files in the same folder with that name?

I had about 30 such files with about 3 GB.

Duplicati will make a one-time backup of a database before changing its schema. So it can happen after upgrading Duplicati.

They can be deleted when you are satisfied that the newer version is working well and you don’t want to roll back to an older version.
