Backup OpenMediaVault SMB network drive to external USB drive

Hi gang, just wondering if Duplicati is able to backup my data from my OpenMediaVault network drive to an external USB.

Here is my configuration. I installed Ubuntu 16.04 on a laptop. I installed OpenMediaVault on a Virtualbox VM. I shared all my data using SMB share for network access for which is attached to the laptop using a ESATA drive. I would like to backup the data from the esata drive to a USB drive attached to the laptop.

I tried to setup Duplicati the backup destination to the usb drive but I’m not able to find the source SMB drive.

Can Duplicati backup data from an SMB network drive to an external USB?

Simply type in the path and click the “Add” button and it should appear in the source tree.
