I found the reason for the alert: It was due to a SendHttpMessage-HttpResponseError with 3 retries. It only shows up in the detailed log (log_level = retry) which has to be specified with an advanced option.
The location is not obvious, since the “Show log” suggests that details can be gleaned from the high-level log on the reporting page.
I suggest improving the dialog to make the location of the detailed information more clear.
