Professionally, I am a retired software engineer with primarily experience in systems programming such as compiler runtime, compiler tools, and very high performance communications of high performance computing.

Personally, I am a father of 6 children, a grandfather of two granddaughters (and one on the way), a brother to two brothers, a husband to one wife, and we have a rescue dog named Jack who is 13.5 years old.

My hobbies include bicycling (I am a member of Strava), and I love to BBQ chicken thighs, and my wife and I enjoy fine wine, finally, we own a pretty old house, and a lot of my time is spent on renovating stuff. We just finished completely remodeling our kitchen.
