Release cycle depends a lot on what’s currently being worked on and whether anything meaningful was added to the master branch.
It takes a bit of effort to make the releases so it’s a judgment call when it’s worth making a new one.
It’s not unusual it takes a bit longer between releases, although I’ll give you there have been a good amount of frequent releases prior to this version
